My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is a sequel to the highest grossing romantic comedy of all time. It is still about a wedding but this time it is the wedding of Maria Portokalos, the mother when they found out that their original wedding was not valid.
The movie is all about Maria Portokalos getting re-married to Toulas father when they found out the first wedding is not valid as it was not signed by the priest that officiated the wedding. There’s a lot of jokes about the wedding but most of the jokes somewhat missed the mark.
While most critics found the movie unfunny, stale and tired, the movie goers where I went to see the movie and like most movie audience found the movie funny from start to the end. While My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is not as good and not as funny as the original, it is still recommended and worth paying to see the movie. Lainie Kazan as Maria Portokalos and Andrea Martin as the meddling Aunt Anna are so funny that I think they stole the show.
It may not be as funny and as successful as the first installment but it is still funny enough and will be a success. However, for more funny movies, get an iptv service.
